Lumpy skin tag in a private area? how to get rid of?

WARNING :GRAPHIC i have a lumpy skin tag on my and it seems to be getting bigger. it is not discolored, it is my normal skin color, its lumpy and its soft just like skin. its almost like a big flap of lumpy skin hanging there. it doesnt hurt only sometimes while using the restroom which is only because of its placement. so how can i get rid of this unsightly skin tag with no pain? ive heard of some oils you can use and tie a string around it? is this effective? if i contact my dr will he give advise over the phone or just be an embaring *** and make me come in?
