Im worried.......my boyfriend..?

yesturday i went to my boyfriends house (we have been dating for 2 months) and his mom said that he would be home any minute,so i went in his room and sat down on his bed,i know this sounds like a stalker but his bedside drawer was open and i looked in it,i saw 5 packs of condoms. i never get jealouse or worried about my bf but.........hes really hot and alot of girls like him and..........idk,is it wierd for a 13 year old boy to have condoms? i mean serisoly,we r 13! im just wondering why he has them and if thats normal,please help. (keep in mind we r both 13)
