Played a joke on Facebook, but it turned out bad?

Well, i played this joke on my mates pretending to be Luke Skywalker. And i was sort of acting like a stalker without meaning to, they rung the police about me being a paedo. I have deactivated the account but can the police still track me down? I'm really scared because if they find out its me i'll be beaten up and stuff, im really scared, what should i do? my parents dont know either but i cant tell them HELP!! :(
