Why is this happening I don't understand?

I really liked this guy but I technically don't remember what he looked liked because he doesn't go to my school and he's a grade older than me. But anyways my friend was friend with him on facebook and they started talking and they started oovooing(webcaming) Then one day she did a three way and I met him but he never turned on his webcam except once when i wasn't on the conversation. After that day I tried to hide my feelings for him but eventually my friend found out because it was obvious. I tried to cover it up by acting mean and crap. ( IT Wasn't BELIEVABLE). Anyways the oovooing stopped for months and then it started again and I admitted that I liked him to my BEST FRIEND. Then a few days later I found out he lives down the street from me(NOT EVEN KIDDING, HE LIVES IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD ON MY STREET A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN) I was completely weirded out. But after that I still never met him. So recently he changed him fb profile pic to something recently and he looked.....(DONT GET OFFENDED BY THIS I'M BEING HONEST. HE IS a little overweighted, he has a melon head, he looks like a creepy stalker dude okayyyy. But I Still like him how is this. PLEASE EXPLAIN. How can i still like him after i found out that he was ugly. HOW IS THIS IS THIS. That's my question. I normally don't judge people but this guy he was just ugly but I STILL LIKE HIM ALOT. I think I like his personality more than his face.Sorry for caps. Please no harsh comments.
